Peer Review Process

The peer-review process is the basis of our obligation to academic quality and integrity at the International Journal of Holistic Research Paradigms (IJHRP). We assume that good research is enhanced by good evaluation, critical feedback, and academic discussion. All the manuscripts submitted to IJHRP go through a well-organized and equitable review to ascertain originality, clarity, relevance, and, the rigor of the academic research.

Our Review Process

1. Initial Editorial Screening

Once submitted, the editorial team reviews the manuscript to make sure it fits the scope of the journal, and it has the minimum of basic quality and formatting parameters.

2. Peer Review Evaluation

Appropriate manuscripts are sent to experts on subjects to review. IJHRP is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal, in which:

  • The names of authors are not revealed to reviewers.
  • The names of reviewers will remain anonymous.

This will allow an impartial and objective assessment.

3. Reviewer Feedback

The evaluators of the manuscript judge it on:

  • Originality and contribution to the field.
  • Methodology and clarity of the research.
  • Relevance to interdisciplinary and whole-person enquiry.
  • Power of analysis and inferences.
  • Ethical compliance

4. Editorial Decision

Depending on the suggestions of the reviewers, the manuscript can be:

  • Accepted
  • Accepted with some small changes.
  • Returned for major revisions
  • Rejected

The decision is presented to the authors with feedback.

Commitment to Fairness and Transparency

  • The reviews are done objectively and confidentially.
  • The applicant is selected based on academic merit.
  • They also give constructive feedback to enable authors to do a better job.
  • Conflicts of interest are carefully avoided.

Revision and Resubmission

In case of a revision request, the authors are urged to respond to the comments of reviewers and make a resubmission within the allowed period. Revised manuscripts can be re-assessed in order to make sure all the issues were addressed accordingly.

The International Journal of Holistic Research Paradigms (IJHRP) considers peer review as the process of evaluation, but as a joint process of academic work that enhances the quality of research and supports academic excellence.
